RECENT OR IN PROGRESS PLACING BOOM PROJECT

Hardin Construction- On the 3344 Peachtree in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Cherokee pumped a 52 story tower along with an 11 story parking deck utilizing a 39 meter placing boom on the tower and a 32 meter placing boom on the parking. Both placing booms were fed by one large trailer pump, a Schwing 8800. Hardin Construction superintendent was Billy McElroy and the project manager was Skip Loman.

Hunt Construction/Baker Concrete- The W Hotel project was two 28 story towers on A1A in Fort Lauderdale; Cherokee placed to vertical lines to service one 39 meter placing boom on each tower. The Baker superintendent was John Schroeder and the project manager was Burt Reedy.

KM Plaza/Baker Concrete- The Carillion project on south beach in Miami had two towers, a 31 and 37 story along with an 8 story parking deck. Cherokee utilized a 32 meter detach placing boom to pump the towers. The Baker superintendent was Kevin Churchman and the project manager was Hans Rowland.

Suffolk Construction/Baker Concrete- The Oceans Edge project in West Palm Beach was one 22 story tower. Cherokee used a 28 meter detach placing boom. The Baker Concrete-the Baker superintendent was Clay Hamby.

Facchina-McGaughan/Baker Concrete- 500 Brickell was two 44 story towers connected by an 11 story parking deck in downtown Miami. Cherokee placed one 32 meter placing boom on each tower which was serviced by one large, Schwing 8800, trailer pump. The Baker superintendent was Keith Bisson and the project manager was Ray Pisaneschi.

Hardin- Terminus 100 Building, Cherokee used 32 meter detachable placing boom to pour 18 story of concrete structure. Hardin superintendent was Will Banfield and Dave Gibson.

GT McDonald/Baker Concrete- Cherokee used a 28 meter detachable placing boom to pump on GT’s 14 and 18 story Capri at South Beach condominium project. Baker superintendent was Rudy Betacourt. Also, prior to placing boom installation, Cherokee completed a 6,300 and 7,500 mat pours.

KM Plaza/Formworks- The Marquis is a 69 story structure, Cherokee used an 8800 trailer pump to place concrete thru two 39 meter placing booms. Once the project is completed, it will be the second highest building in Miami. Formworks project manager is Hugo Hernandez.

Coscan Construction/Baker Concrete- Cherokee used an 8000 trailer pump and a 28 meter placing boom with two pedestals to place concrete on the Jade Ocean 51 story structure in Sunny Isles, Florida.

Bovis Lend Lease/Baker Concrete Cherokee is using an 8000 trailer pump to place concrete thru a 32 and 29 meter placing boom on the 53 story Paramount Bay structure in Miami.

Suffolk Construction/Baker Concrete- Cherokee is using a two Schwing 8800 trailer pumps and two 28 meter and one 39 meter placing booms on the MET II project which consist of a 44 story hotel and a 48 story office building. The project is in downtown Miami. The 48 story had the highest placement of lightweight concrete in south Florida.

Coastal Construction/Formworks-Baker- Cherokee has two Schwing 8000 trailer pumps along with three 32 meter and two 39 meter separate placing booms pumping the St. Regis Hotel project in Bal Harbor. This project consists of three 27 story building along with two four story parking garages. We are utilizing over 3,200 feet of pipeline to deliver the concrete to the placing booms.
