• Cherokee
Pumping sponsored a Skeet Shoot to benefit
the The Joseph Sams School in Fayetteville,
Georgia. The Joseph Sams School is a private
school on the south side of Atlanta which
helps children with physical and mental disabilities.
The event raised $13,400.00 for the school’s
general fund. Thank-you to everyone who participated
to help this wonderful school.

pumping became the exclusive dealer for Bay
Lynx Manufacturing in the states of Alabama
and Georgia. Cherokee will service and sell
their Multi-Cat equipment line within these
states.

• Cherokee
employees attend ACPA safety seminar held
in Atlanta. We are proud to be the only concrete
pumping company in Atlanta which had 100%
participation from its employees. The seminar
reviewed all safety aspects of the concrete
pumping industry and administered the ACPA
certification test at the conclusion of the
seminar.

• Cherokee
participates in Peachtree City, Georgia Touch-A-Truck
event. This is the third year that
Cherokee has had a concrete pump in this
annual event. Along with our concrete pump,
there are several other large trucks from
other industries showcased, which allow families
to learn about the services they provide.
• Cherokee
launched its website: www.cherokeepumping.com The
website was launched to provide customers
with immediate access to company data along
with additional information about the concrete
pumping industry.

• Cherokee
Pumping takes delivery on the first Multi-Cat
stone spreader in Georgia. This unique piece
of equipment can be utilized for a multitude
of uses. It can spread #57 stone up to 90
feet away to a required grade. Also, landscapers
are using it to level lawns with sand and
spread mulch.

• Cherokee Pumping, Inc. celebrates its
11th year in business. Cherokee was started
in 1994 by Walker Concrete in Fayetteville,
Georgia. They grew Cherokee to an eight
pump fleet until they sold it in November
2001.
• Cherokee Concrete Pumping LLC,
a sister company of Cherokee Pumping, Inc.,
opened in Jacksonville, Florida. They began
operations with one Schwing 42 meter and
two Schwing 32 meters. Michael Blohm is
our operations manager.
• Congratulations to Stony Moorhead who
celebrated his third year with Cherokee.
And to Phil McConnell Sr. and Phil
McConnell Jr. who celebrated their
first anniversary with Cherokee Pumping.

of your hard work and dedication.

January 2005
• Cherokee
moved to new and a long waited location
in January. The new location at 831 Steele
Drive in Hampton, Georgia has 6,000 square
feet of office space along with 11,000
square feet of shop. Situated on a six
acre parcel of land, will allow room
for Cherokee to grow its fleet on concrete
pumps.

Boyer who celebrated their fourth
